There once was an environmentalist from Cape Fear
who viewed mankind with a sneer.
But he dreaded the day
when people would say
Mr. Greenie you can kiss my rear.
The radical environmentalist leaders are marketing a false campaign of global death and destruction. What may have began as youthful dreams of a better world are now large corporate offices, well-paid staffs and socialist political agendas.
Their marketing strategy is designed to play on our basic instinct for survival. Scare tactics and emotional confusion are the orders of the day. They assume power not granted and cry foul if you don’t play follow the leader. A new world order is the goal, but few followers ever contemplate or understand what life would be like under such a system.
Responsible stewardship of the Earth is not too much to ask, but radical environmental fanaticism is no way to live a life or run a world.

Hi ara
Thanks for the idea. There’s nothing like a little teamwork to get things done.

How ’bout this?
There once was a shyster named Al
Who viewed the whole Earth as his pal
But the truth found him out
And proclaimed him a lout
And subdued little Al’s cheap cabal.

Hi LC,
There once was a man named Al Gore,
who everyone thought was a real bore.
Then with the air of a Baptist preacher,
he became an environmentalist teacher,
and found a way to make a big score.

LC–
Please forgive me for breaking topic but I find no way to contact you other than through these posts.
This link Al Gore tipped to win Nobel is highly topical and is news to me. It’s dated 10/7, so it might be old, but I just found reference to it on Drudge. How’s this grab you?
I’ve posted it with light comment on my site. I’d be interested to see what it brings up should you decide to do likewise.

Lord Crimson
Hi ara
A peace prize awarded for lies, deceit, projected target dates of destruction no one now alive could possibly prove.
I am amused at the statement, “A prerequisite for winning the Nobel peace prize is making a difference and Al Gore has made a difference.”
What difference has Al Gore made? Being a bigger liar and hypocrite than the Clinton’s shouldn’t be a consideration.
“Global temperatures will rise 2.5C within the next century even if the world hits its targets for cutting greenhouse gas emissions, according to the scientist leading research into the issue.”
“Consequences ‘could’ include widespread starvation, as farm yields fall 50% in parts of Africa, water shortages for 300m and the destruction of 20-30% of species. If targets are missed the rise could reach 4C.”
Al Gore and many environmentalist are absolutely shameless as they continue to spout their fear for profit.

Hi LC,
Thanks. The High Priest of Climate Change does make a good target, although, there is so much material to work with I often find it difficult to focus on specific details long enough to come up with a good mocking. Maybe I should only read the news every other day?
Hi ara,
It has been a long time. Nice to see you around again. Of course, I’ve been so busy lately that it’s nice to see myself around again

Environmentalism is the next communism. Tobacco users have been harassed unmercifully by politicians who have brainwashed the public into thinking that “passive smoke kills”. The truth is no one has ever died from passive smoke. The real issue is that smoking is a freedom that should not be taken away by corrupt government that believes that smoking is causing global warming

sound mind
this message is too short to prove any point, obviously the writer hasn’t looked at all the facts. I means what kind of individiual would want to through caution to the wind just to sound impressive in a “rebel against the leader” kinda way.
I’d like to see the diploma’s on envoronmental science they hold. If we spent more time listening to the scientists who agree that the worlds coming closer to it’s tilting point and side with caution then we wouldn’t be gambling the lives of billions. Maybe some leaders are raising their voices so loud because there “is” an iminent threat in our future we as a race are not doing enought about.
We’ll all look pretty stupid when what these leaders are talking about starts to happen and we sat on our hands the whole time watching it go on and then complain to them after it’s too late. The naiveity of this self destructive mindset confounds me.

Ignorant Hater
You’re ignorant Lord Crimson
You live in an enclosed, sheltered reality. open up your mind.
Your the ignorant catholic church who ridiculed Gallieleo’s heliocentrism and believed the earth is flat
Your the early ignoramuses who ridiculed the Wright bros
Your the ignorant British Royal Society who ridiculed John L. Baird when he demonstrated the first the first television system.
Your the homosexuals of the late 1980’s who denied the existence of AIDS and had unprotected sex (fits your category)
