What an extraordinary turn of events! That crafty old fox McCain has out-changed Obama by picking Palin as his VP.
For the next few months, that whining sound you hear will be the Obama supporters responding to their upcoming defeat.
Update: Now that it’s over and McCain lost expect Palin to receive most of the blame. Of course this couldn’t be further from the truth, but the Republicans need a scapegoat to divert blame for their mistake in running such a weak presidential candidate.
On the other side, the Democrats and media must finish destroying her in hopes she won’t be a viable candidate in 2012.

And it will be music to my ears.
I still have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming. Brilliant choice.

Hi tammi
Your “brilliant” assessment is right on the mark. Republicans can be assured that the choice is correct as indicated by the banshee screams coming from Obama supporters. Plus, the conservative Palin is exactly what McCain needs to get his base re-energized.
Given McCain’s track record, I would have bet the bank that Lieberman would be his VP choice. After the announcement my first response was… Sarah who?
After a little digging I was pleasantly surprised at Palin’s record. Being a total babe doesn’t hurt either, but that’s just my manly gene kicking in which should never be used as an indicator of good leadership.

Hi LC. I saw this over at Alarming News. Funny, it makes me admire her husband for being part of such a party. The left is peeing their pants trying to find dirt on this family, and everything they come up with just doesn’t matter or encourages me all the more to vote McCain / Palin.

Hi LC, Tammi,
Not so fast. The left, with the Feminist movement showing the way, is working furiously to convince themselves that Palin isn’t really a woman. She does, after all, have FIVE children which places her in the category of “breeder” rather than “woman.” Also, even if she somehow qualifies as technically being a woman, since she didn’t attend classes on the subject at Berkly or Harvard or such, she’s hardly qualified to represent a woman’s point of view.

Hi Grit
How refreshing that Palin did not emerge from one of these brainwashing institutions. What are electives at most universities, Berkeley and Harvard require all freshmen women to sign up for Bitchy 101.
When graduation time rolls around all are quite proficient and receive a minor in the distasteful art of angry shrew.
