With all the promises floating from the Obama campaign, the one I am inclined to believe is his promise to raise taxes. He said that the only people who will be affected are those who make over 250K. Since this initial statement, the revised level of income required for pillage dropped to 120K. – (recently stated by Bill Richardson)
The bottom line is that it doesn’t matter the income level. The fact that we are already seeing a sliding scale can only mean that he plans to eventually raise taxes on everyone with a job.
Most people can expect a creeping level of taxation that will soon exceed oppressive levels. I know it seems impossible now, but Obama’s ideas will make serfs of us all. He will push for laws that will force your increased financial support for government no matter the cause or face the consequences.
This is Hope and Change only an authoritarian dictator could embrace.
If you value your freedom – Vote McCain/Palin
In case there is any doubt, freedom and liberty will become a distant memory under an Obama presidency. The “Tyrannical Three” consisting of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid combined with the luxury of no checks and balances will grant them the power to oppress and pillage at will.
We are one election away from allowing socialist-Democrats to destroy the economic system that provides the prosperity we enjoy. Do not be deceived – Obama and his band of thieves want to replace capitalism in favor of socialism. If this happens, it will be you who is “forced” to spread your wealth among the slackers.
Oh yeah, don’t forget that this spreading of wealth will also include giving more money to the United Nations and improving the lifestyle of corrupt dictators in Africa. This is just the beginning, but you get the point.
You must have noticed that we have been losing freedoms in incremental stages for over 60 years, while government keeps growing in size and power. The time is here when years of patience is about to payoff. One last power-play and it will all be theirs forever, short of a bloodbath in the streets.
With ACORN stuffing ballot boxes (where’s the FBI) and a partisan media sanitizing the Obamanation, this could very well be our final free election. You can bet that if the Democrats achieve total power then measures will be taken and laws will be passed that will make it virtually impossible for them to ever lose power again.
Now is the time to play your ace in the hole – Vote McCain/Palin.
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell recently announced his endorsement of socialist presidential candidate and self-anointed messiah, Barack Hussein Obama. Powell stated that Obama had the ability to inspire and is a transformational figure, but neglected to elaborate on the direction of that transformation.
Obama called Powell, thanking him for his last minute endorsement. Already convinced of a victory, Obama promised Powell a position in his new administration as compensation for his public support. Powell can expect an exorbitant salary since one of Obama’s goals is to spread the wealth from the private sector to government.
Obama is clearly the most liberal senator with visual intentions of transforming the nation into a socialist thugocracy. Just ask Joe the Plummer what can happen if you ask the wrong question.
So why would Powell endorse Obama? He has no experience. He promises to raise taxes, which will destroy an already ailing economy. He wants to transform the US into a full blown socialist nation. The terrorist nations are sure to test his youth and inexperience inflicting more death and destruction. Pelosi and Reid will run all over him making them in a very real sense the nations true leaders. The list goes on.
Again, why would Powell endorse Obama? It seems we have only one answer – Powell’s endorsement comes down to race. Again, we have a decision from the good General that makes the world a more dangerous place. Thanks General Powell, you’re a real sport or would I be closer to the mark by using the word racist?
The good news is that it ain’t over till it’s over.
Nothing reflects Washington politics better than to spawn a crisis in order to impose desired social engineering. Now that we are riding the fast track to socialism, the Democrats scream, “Crisis!” so often that half the people just instinctively bend over and shout, “Thank you sir, may I have another?”
The recent demand for a bailout or in some minds a ransom is the product of political corruption and Wall Street greed. We know by now that when government tampers with the free market, the results are usually worse than if they would have just remained an innocent bystander.
In this case, political strong-arming from the Democratic Party set the stage for financial failures by requiring that an overwhelming number of unqualified people receive loans they could not possibly pay back.
We also know that Democrats are exclusively responsible because there is none of the usual cries for investigations or hearings. There are no Republican scapegoats splashed across newspapers and TV news shows.
The same Democrat politicians responsible for this mess remain in positions that enable them to rush the process. Notice how they are quick to divert the public’s attention with cries of Armageddon. This tactic provides cover while they sweep the incriminating details under the rug before anyone has a chance to ask too many questions.
Finally, we have President George Bush the younger. With the stroke of the pen, he sealed the deal for socialism by forcing the innocent to pay the debts of the reckless. He set into motion the idea that failures’ reward is a bailout by the taxpayers.
You might think this situation would provide the republicans a chance to show strong leadership and maybe even pick up a few votes. The people were clear and voiced a strong distaste for the whole sorted affair, but instead republican leaders also recognized a chance to grab a little more power so became deceptively silent.
The first repercussion is already in play. California quickly recognized the opportunity and secured its place in front of the bailout window. Expect more to follow their lead.
The sad part is the bailout of 700 billion plus perks didn’t fix anything. It only sent the problem into the future so we can do it all over again. It did however allow the government to secure it’s tentacles into the mortgage and insurance industry. Not a coincidence in case you wonder.

“The Senate sweetened the bill with an extra 112 billion,” said Dodd. “Now if you can add a little more well placed incentive throughout the House we can easily push this thing through.”
“Don’t worry; I’ll stick to the original plan,” said Frank. “By the way, the 451 pages was a nice touch.”
“Old trick, but it still works. Most Senators don’t even know what they are signing up for, or don’t care.”
“If this works, it will all but destroy any Republican chances. Then after the fools elect Obama we will be able to steal it all,” said Frank.
“Good,” snarled Dodd. “It’s time the people know the meaning of power and who controls them.”
Dodd taps the table a few times, smiles at Frank then returns to the Senate floor. Frank watches Dodd leave and dreams of possibilities.
