Former Secretary of State Colin Powell recently announced his endorsement of socialist presidential candidate and self-anointed messiah, Barack Hussein Obama. Powell stated that Obama had the ability to inspire and is a transformational figure, but neglected to elaborate on the direction of that transformation.
Obama called Powell, thanking him for his last minute endorsement. Already convinced of a victory, Obama promised Powell a position in his new administration as compensation for his public support. Powell can expect an exorbitant salary since one of Obama’s goals is to spread the wealth from the private sector to government.
Obama is clearly the most liberal senator with visual intentions of transforming the nation into a socialist thugocracy. Just ask Joe the Plummer what can happen if you ask the wrong question.
So why would Powell endorse Obama? He has no experience. He promises to raise taxes, which will destroy an already ailing economy. He wants to transform the US into a full blown socialist nation. The terrorist nations are sure to test his youth and inexperience inflicting more death and destruction. Pelosi and Reid will run all over him making them in a very real sense the nations true leaders. The list goes on.
Again, why would Powell endorse Obama? It seems we have only one answer – Powell’s endorsement comes down to race. Again, we have a decision from the good General that makes the world a more dangerous place. Thanks General Powell, you’re a real sport or would I be closer to the mark by using the word racist?
The good news is that it ain’t over till it’s over.

Only one person knows for sure…and that’s Powell.
Powell claims that he’s not happy with the “rightward shift” of the Republican party.
Any merit in his accusation???

Agreed only Powell knows for sure, but I still suspect race weighs heavily in his decision to endorse Obama.
Ahh yes, the rightward shift. The fact that Powell even claims there is a rightward shift of the Republican Party is very telling. It gives us a clear picture of just how far to the left he is.

Powell has also mentioned several times that it’s time we had a black President. He’s also a big proponent of affirmative action, and this is starting to look like the ultimate version of it.

Although Powell is not likely to admit it, he secretly wants to be the power behind the throne – the new Obama puppet master. That way he can have presidential influence and not have to duck and weave when out in public.

I’m still trying to figure out whether Obama is a political genius or a well spoken moron who’s just a front for the liberal elite. On the gripping hand, it might just be that the Universe liked the movie, “Being There,” and is yanking our chain for fun. Which reminds me that I need to add to my stockpile of supplies this weekend.

Good question! I’m of the opinion that Obama is simply lucky in that he arrived on the scene the exact moment in time when blind stupidity outweighs common sense.
I haven’t seen “Being There” in quite some time, thanks for the suggestion. I will no doubt watch it this time with a much different perspective.

“Lord Crimson”, if you actually believe that Obama is a socialist, you’re a total moron. And I believe you may be.
Have you noticed what’s going on in the world? The middle class is disappearing. If things continue this way, in a few years, we will look like Brazil. They have two classes: super rich and dirt poor. Something needs to be done about this, something big.
Taking a few lessons from the things that work within the ideas of Socialism is nothing to be afraid of, just look at the Socialist bailout that your buddy W. wanted so bad.
Read a few books.

May I say that your powers of persuasion need a little fine tuning. Still, judging from your obvious lack of knowledge on the subject it’s probably just as well.
Your statements show that you haven’t been listening to the Obamanation and his wish to turn the US into a full-blown socialist nation. His mantra of change is a nice way of deflecting his true intentions of economic justice and punishment to those who achieve.
Obama’s idea of redistributive change is socialism. You mention Brazil and it’s two class system. That’s a good representation of what is in store because with socialism there is the ruling class of politicians then there is everybody else.
If you like the ideas of socialism then fine there are many places in the world you can go and live that life. I personally reject Obama’s socialist intentions because why destroy the last bastion of freedom just to create another oppressive country where government is the master and the people are slaves.

Since the money came from the evil oil companies it’s hard believe that your democrat sensibilities are disturbed. I suspect that your complaint stems more towards the idea that you didn’t get any of the payout.
