One major issue facing the Obamanation is Afghanistan. The importance of winning goes far beyond just victory, but proving to our allies and enemies that we are capable of completing what we begin.
Any President wishing to prove himself worthy of that title would not tie a loss in Afghanistan around his legacy. But these are not normal times and there are socialist agendas to consider and complete.
I suppose the only question now is when will Reid-Pelosi-Murtha and the usual cast of characters demand the old tactic of cut-and-run thus finally claiming defeat in Afghanistan?
The betting windows are now open.

Hi LC,
You forget that President and Leader For Life Obama said that, if elected, he would clamp down on Afghanistan and even invade Pakistan in a quest to kill terrorists, especially Bin Laden. I expect to see our troops rolling across the border any day now. Accompanied by large numbers of white doves being released, unshaven women in white dresses dancing around throwing flower petals in the air, and the whole world stopping for a moment to sing a song about Coke.
Oh, and I’m sorry to say that I won’t get to see it happen, because I’m scheduled to get a pedicure and facial that day, after which I have front row tickets to the flying pig races. Drat!

Hi Grit
Obama has limited experience at most everything so he has developed this creepy tendency to copy or present himself as other people. Whether it be Lincoln, Roosevelt or Patton promising victory after victory over hoards of terrorist.
At this moment, Obama’s new persona is stuck on Gomer Pyle with Sergeant Carter in the background telling him what to do.
