You don’t usually find a cartoon that grabs you like this one – It is simple, brutal, accurate and speaks volumes on so many levels.

Hi LC,
I read up on the aggressive interrogation techniques in question. The worst one, in my opinion, was forcing the terrorist to stand up while being questioned, but for no longer than 4 hours. Thus, I’m thinking that we should save a bit of money and just make them work at McDonald’s until they spill everything they know. Really, it shouldn’t take more than 3 – 4 days to break them.

Hi Grit – Yeah, that standing for hours is tough. I don’t see how McDonald’s employees can handle the torture. As for me, a few minutes of RAP music and I’m spilling my guts.

Hi LC,
Not me; I love rap! Goodness, but Hot Rod Lincoln: ( Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen) is one of my favorite songs! And some of the square dancing tunes are pretty snazzy as well.

If ya wanna know what true “torture” is, Japan had it’s own “waterboarding” in the 1940s. Let’s see… forcing POWs to eat dry rice, then pouring water down their throats until their bowels exploded.

The Japanese were very nasty when it came to abusing captured soldiers. It’s been a while, but I remember hearing stories from some of the guys who weren’t captured, but witnessed the results of real torture committed by the Japanese.
All said that once they discovered what the Japanese were capable of they no longer bothered to take prisoners.

This cartoon is incredibly dumb and simple-minded, considering that beheading isn’t torture, it’s an execution. It just proves what a simpleton Lester is.
