It doesn’t take a crystal ball to forecast the future as we see Obama “purposely” destroy the US economy. I say purposely because no one can make this many “mistakes” by pure dumb luck. The fact is that each action Obama unleashes to repair the economy forces it into further disrepair. Then we look at exactly what did happen and discover that with each action the government gains more power forcing the people closer to government servitude.
What is comrade Obama up to in his quest to attain the position of supreme ruler, or if you prefer dictator? All right, I know it’s easy to scoff at these titles, but if you stop to think a minute you could ask yourself, what purpose can come of all this accumulation of power by government? It’s not like we haven’t seen this type of scenario play out in history. In fact we see Obama using some of the same tactics British Imperialist used in Africa.
Convince the people that clinging to any aspect of their cultural identity or history is bad because it regresses the process of unity.
In other words, destroy loyalty by condemning Patriotism. We witnessed this when Obama traveled abroad apologizing for the US. He wants the US people to be ashamed of their country.
Confiscate the wealth and resources of the area that you govern by any means necessary in order to redistribute wealth.
Obama doesn’t dream of equality, only power, money and control. The redistribution of wealth disguised as economy saving Bailouts, Cap and Trade, Cash for Clunkers and don’t forget the most grand scheme of them all – Government Health Care is just a means to an end.
Convince the masses that your upper-crust university education naturally puts you on an intellectual plane from which to understand everything even when you understand nothing.
We know Obama is in over his head because why would such a so-called intellectual and extraordinary public speaker be so dependent on a teleprompter. Nice of the government media to help him out with this charade don’t you think.
Lie to the people and tell them that progress is being made even though things are clearly becoming worse.
Every action this administration has implemented is a total and utter failure from the perspective of repairing the economy. From the perspective of government, it has been a total success. A reliable clue is that politicians no longer listen to the wishes of the people and ram through unread legislation no matter the outcry.
Use every available media outlet to perpetuate the belief that you and your followers are the enlightened ones-and that those who refuse to support you are just barbaric, uncivilized, ignorant curmudgeons.
Using the media is standard operation procedure and has been for some time. The real test is that the government and the media are becoming bolder as witnessed by the travesty inflicted on the nation by ABC News. You might remember this bit of propaganda as the Obama infomercial.
The Bottom Line
Washington politicians are no longer listening as they systematically destroy what remains of freedom. The nation’s forefathers knew a thing or two about government tyranny and obviously knew that one day we would need to protect ourselves from our own leaders. That time is here.
It’s time to speak in a language even a socialist dictator understands and that’s what the 2nd Amendment is all about. Use it or lose it

Why does BHO need to completely rebuild the best health care system in the world in order to improve it? If improving health care is the goal then a cheaper more targeted approach makes more sense.
Just like every other Obama plan this lie about improving health care is only a push for larger government.

Obama’s plan seems to hinge around vengeance by forcing the nation back to African standards. That’s pretty much what it means to be green. As far as improving health care – I wouldn’t count on it.

While you are, as usual, quite correct in your larger view, you seem to have missed a few of the finer points. Most of these, the cultural identity aspect for instance, are true in the general case, but are being granted great exceptions in the minority case, purely, of course, for the purpose of maintaining support from the general public until the final Marxist takeover makes that irrelevant. You might also note the proposed exception of health care taxes for unions, and the lack of mention, and the implied understanding that they will not be included in the impending salary controls, of the outrageous fees movies stars get.
And while it would be most satisfying to wait and watch history replay itself again, and the liberal elite being paraded before the cameras on their way to the reeducation camps after the revolution succeeds and the dictator is in total control, I’m thinking your view of the 2nd Amendment trumps my personal pleasure.
Dang, but it’s going to be difficult to fit a .50 caliber rifle and ammo into my budget!

I beg to differ, I missed a lot of the finer points.
The cultural identity aspect is a bit tricky, but for Obama purposes the promoting of anti-Patriotism is a winner. It turns out when people hate their country big changes are easier to sell. It also appears the government can get away with a lot more hanky panky.
The 2nd Amendment is a gift from our forefathers – not to use it in a time of need is inexcusable. Think of it as paintball with teams and remember to just have fun.

As to 2A, I’d love to have the funds to test my idea that it includes owning field artillery in the courts. Crap but having a 155 mm howitzer would increase my standing at the next Neighborhood Watch meeting! Besides, it would look really cool in front of the house.

I must admit having a howitzer at the ready could do wonders for your social status. I suppose it would depend on which way it is pointed as to which neighbors appreciate its finer qualities.
One problem might be finding enough shells to make a good fight of it. Having never purchased any myself common sense tells me that the royal treasury would quickly be depleted.
If all else fails, there might be some retired Confederate artillery feeling the need to be useful again.

There’s also the possibility that the large air cannons used for pumpkin chunking could be used. Really, some of those thinks can shoot a pumpkin a mile, and I can buy lots of black powder with no paper work, so I could probably cobble together my own shells. Besides, such a weapon would have the advantage of being able to bombard my enemies with fruit, which is a powerful statement in and of itself.
