Wisdom from the Realm

Masters of the Media

One of the most effective weapons in the Islamist arsenal is the western media. The jihadist have found willing accomplices in corrupt and hate-driven news organizations which result in successfully getting their propaganda to the masses. With the New York Times and CNN doing their work for them, jihadist feel it’s time to influence a new and greater audience.

The war on terror has many fronts and the internet has become an intricate part of the struggle. Recently an increase in jihad type films began surfacing in places like YouTube and Google Video. They are meant to sway public opinion in favor of militant Islam. By using these videos they also hope the citizens of western countries will increase pressure on their government to withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.

As most of you already know, blogging has become a popular internet activity. Islamist recognize this and are not only infiltrating western society, but western blogs as well. Although any blog is fair game, their focus is mostly non-political where visitors are the most susceptible to political propaganda. The goal is not to enter into futile arguments, but to spread disinformation about the war. Just keep spreading the lie.

One example of propaganda is when a visitor posts a fictitious story about an American soldier they know. They spin this tale about the frustration this imaginary soldier feels about the situation in Iraq. How it’s a lost cause and wonders why he must stay. Another example might be that your visitor has a friend whose son went to Iraq and became so disillusioned that he committed suicide. No matter what fictitious story your visitor weaves, their goal is to visit as many blogs as possible with a story designed to break your spirit about winning the war. This is clever and a first rate red-herring, so you must be able to recognize this for what it is.

Another method is to introduce topics that instill frustration and anger towards the government. This will result in hostility towards the President and the Republican Party. The goal here is to place pressure on Republican leaders to join the Democrats and vote to withdraw the troops. This method is very easy to fall prey too as most “free” people already have a natural aversion towards government.

As you can see a great deal of planning and effort is being expended by the Islamist with the expressed goal of getting troops withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan. Now you may ask why is this so important to them.? It’s really quite simple, once the troops are out of their neighborhood, a new theater of war can be fully established in the heart of western cities.

On your quest for wisdom you must understand that the warriors of Islam are always planning for the future. They have many irons in the fire and are setting the stage for world wide domination for the religion of Islam. At this moment in time they need to create anti-war sentiment in the west and by all indications are succeeding. They know that they can’t win militarily, so are attempting to win by the use of propaganda. Of course the democrats and the news media have proved that they are more than willing to help.

  1. Hi LC,

Well said, as usual. The sad thing is that they learned this from the Global Warming Alarmists. Of course, now that I think about it, those two groups share many of the same goals.

  2. Hi Grit

I wonder how those in this country who long for our defeat will like Islam? Those that are unhappy now are really in for a shock. But I suppose most won’t be around for long anyway, and those that remain will long for the days global warming was their biggest concern.

  4. Hi mom – Welcome to the Realm

The negative spin (lies) some major news organizations place on stories about the war can easily make you believe all is lost. There is no doubt this deceptive style of reporting has proved very damaging. The islamist have simply taken a page from their playbook and are replicating it on the fast growing legion of bloggers.

  5. Hi LC,

I suspect it will go much like the Iranian revolution. I well recall the pictures of the middle class Iranian women, wearing mini-skirts and make up on the front lines of the protests against the Shaw. Now, of course, you can see pictures of them, as they are not allowed to leave their dwellings except when wearing a burka and accompanied by a male relative. One has to wonder if, given the chance, would they choose the same path?

  6. Hi Grit

Yep, all someone has to do is look at the lifestyle of the enemy to get a good idea of what defeat might be like. I’ve seen enough to inspire our victory.

Although it might be fun to require Nancy Pelosi to wear a burka… well just a thought.

  7. Hi LC,

If Nanny Pelosi has to wear one, it’s my feeling (feelings being more important than rational thought to liberals) that Senator Kennedy should also be hidden from view.

PS I was just over at A Rational Aversion, but can’t leave comments. Since you can, I was hoping you’d mention this to the owner.

  8. Hi Grit

Now that’s an idea I can get behind. Mr. Kennedy certainly deserves the royal treatment, just ask him. So fitting to his contributions to society I suggest the perfect combination of Iron Mask and Dungeon.

The royal pigeon has been sent with a message requesting that your voice be heard.
