Giuliani Criticizes Democrats Over John Doe

with 12 comments

Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani just earned 3 quality points for his criticism of the Democrat opposition to the “John Doe” amendment.

The “John Doe” amendment was introduced by Peter King (R-NY) into the Homeland Security Bill which is currently being debated in Congress. It’s purpose is to protect Americans from being sued by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) if they report suspicious behavior.

โ€œThe terrorists are at war with us – whether or not Democrats in Washington and on the campaign trail choose to acknowledge it โ€“ and we must stay on offense to prevail.โ€

It must be repeated that the goal of CAIR is to see America become an Islamic state. Giuliani seems to understand the score, so well done Rudy.

Enjoy your points and don’t spend them all in one place.

  1. Hi LC,

I think I mentioned that in a post. The memory if vague, because the evil of the liberals is so vile that it has caused me to do that subconscious blocking thing. Of course, we really shouldn’t be surprised that they are siding with the criminals. After all, Democrats have always done that, and what better example of criminal behavior is there than Islamic terrorists?

  2. Hi Grit

It is an amazing thing to watch. You can’t help but wonder why they would choose to be on the side of the enemy. Wonder how they will like living under Islamic rule? Probably so much that they will laugh their heads off.

  3. LC……..Isn’t it interesting that the Democrats understand that “Whistle Blowers” must be protected in order to encourage their dilligence when it comes to takng down corporations or some government entity, but the whole idea escapes them when it comes to protecting the national security of the country. How many times and in how many ways must the Democrats express their contempt for America, Americans and their safety until the voters figure out what these guys stand for……….steve

  4. Hi Steve

You make a good point and it shows the inconsistency of the Democrat leadership. The sad part is that many of the voters also hold the same contempt otherwise Democrats wouldn’t be in power.

We see the Arab children brainwashed to hate, but our media, public schools, universities and politicians are doing the same thing. We are only reaping the benefits of the Democrat hate machine.

It does make me wonder where exactly do Democrats plan to live when it finally hits the fan. Of course by then there will truly be something to complain about.

  5. Hi LC,

As I understand it, that measure finally made it through. Still, how any sane person could have stood against it for even a slight moment is beyond me.

  6. Hi Grit

I hear there must be “objectively reasonable suspicion” for the immunity to apply. This is really no problem because what are the alternatives? You can speak up or you can blow up.

Even if you do have to go to court I’m thinking counter-suit. 20 million for pain and suffering sounds like enough to compensate for my inconvenience. After a few losses CAIR will be out of business and isn’t that the most important thing. If nothing else it would stop this nonsense.

  7. Hi LC,
I’m sure the more conservative candidates feel the same way. Probably just not on record saying it because Giuliani beat them to the punch. I’m certain that Rudy will not heed your advice and spend his 3 points wisely ๐Ÿ˜‰ .

Off topic a bit — are you coming over to Conservablogs sir?

  8. Hi Tammi,

LC has expanded into Conservablogs: http://www.conservablogs.com/lordcrimson/

    Hi LC,

Sorry, but I’m the type of person who finishes your sentence if you hesitate in conversation. It’s a character flaw I know, but I’m pretty sure the ACLU will stand with me on my right to be impatient ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Hi Tammi

I’m guessing that other candidates do feel the same way, but they must say it. Any potential want-to-be President can’t assume we know were they stand on individual issues.

I have found this early beginning to the political season not very helpful. All the contrived answers don’t seem to reflect the real candidate. At this stage all are trying not to make a mistake instead of showing us what kind of leader they would make.

Thanks for asking, and yes, I have decided to give it a try.

  11. Well congrats to Rudy. Plus three points for that action, minus one point because I can never remember how to spell his name.

  12. Hi tt

Spelling his name is a challenge, hope I got it right.

I also thought about taking away a point because he used the word Terrorist. He should have used the term “Islamic” Terrorist. If you can’t or won’t identify your enemy how can you expect to defeat him.
