Hillary’s Chinese Connection
From renting the Lincoln bedroom for personal gain, to selling-out the country to the Chinese, betrayal has proven to be the life’s blood and the true nature of the Clintons’. As Hillary Clinton seeks to obtain the highest office in the land, the Chinese connection has re-surfaced in the form of Norman Hsu and William Paw.
Norman Hsu is one of the leading political fund-raisers in the country. The odd thing according to federal election records is until three years ago Mr. Hsu never made a campaign contribution to a presidential candidate. Suddenly, he is considered a major player. How fortunate for Hillary Clinton and other Democrats.
The Wall Street Journal reported that a modest home in a middle-class San Francisco suburb, where the family of mail carrier William Paw resides, is listed as the address for many contributions to the Clinton campaign. According to public records, Mr. Hsu once listed this same home as his address and the Paws’ donations closely tracked his.
Could it be that the Chinese are again influencing elections? Can we expect another or is it a continued betrayal of the nation by Hillary Clinton and other Democrats?
Already, Mrs. Clinton’s opponents are busy trying to rekindle remembrances of the 1996 Democratic fund-raising scandals, in which Asian moneymen were accused of funneling suspect donations into Democratic coffers as President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore were running for re-election.
So, we have the Chinese donating large amounts of money via Norman Hsu and William Paw. Large amounts from men that have no real money to speak of. Norman Hsu also listed several Democrat politicians to whom he has given money, and said he has never asked any for favors. This may be true, but how many favors have other Chinese agents asked for and received?
The list of Democrat politicians that have received money from Hsu (and the Chinese) include Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell; New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine; Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy; California Sen. Dianne Feinstein; and Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown.
After the scandal broke, Hillary Clinton ran for cover promising to give to charity $23,000. I expect the Bill Clinton Presidential Library will be receiving a donation for that amount in the near future. Clinton declined to part with the rest which was accumulated in bundling activities. Hsu was given over a million dollars in donations.
