Laura Bush Blunders

On a recent trip to Saudi Arabia, Laura Bush chose to submit to the enemies of western civilization by wearing an abaya. An “abaya” is a loose black robe worn from head to toe by Muslim women. It’s commonly seen as a symbol of Islam’s oppression toward women.

Mrs. Bush’s horrific display of this garment can only be met with shame and disappointment. Any positive results she sought to achieve going in quickly evaporated as her poor judgment turned into yet another treasure trove for Muslim propaganda.

In a single act, Mrs. Bush’s blunder reached the level of Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Syria. Admittedly, I now find myself questioning the sanity of sending women to the middle east for any reason. Their pattern of appeasement is troubling not to mention the loss of fashion sense. If you wouldn’t wear drapes at home, why do it there?

Good to see you back. I was about to inquire as to your well-being.

Your last paragraph above sums it up. We live amongst the wilfully arrogant Ignorati.

Grin and bear it, vote way smart, and buy ammo.

  2. Hi ara

To keep a good attitude and a fresh perspective I find it necessary to take little chunks of down-time from the doom and gloom presented by today’s news organizations. If allowed, they could even suck the life from Dracula.

I was surprised by the actions of Mrs. Bush and frankly had I not seen it for myself would not have believed it. I’ve always held her in high esteem, but now I’m not so sure.

It just goes to show you what can happen when people live too long in Washington and why leaders should be changed often.

  4. Hi Steve

There may be few exceptions. Hillary and Pelosi can go if they are never allowed to return. To watch each lose the freedoms they are so intent on stealing from us would be a sweet justice.

  5. Dear ‘Lord Crimson’,

You are a racist and a chauvanist (though, you probably don’t care about being either, or both).

I’m glad your candidly hateful and ignorant views are relegated to the pathetic, self-absorbed world of the ‘blogosphere’.

    Enjoy!

  6. Hi Noise

Thank You. It’s a shame that you couldn’t manage more than a drive-by insult instead of expressing why you disagree. I suppose that’s because of your limited economy of thought and words.
