McCain Becomes Attack Dog for Obama

with 5 comments

It seems that no matter how I try to find reasons to support John McCain, the more he continues to make it impossible. The latest in a long line of mistakes has him attacking the NC-GOP base in support of Obama.

Recently a local ad targeting two NC ultra-liberal Democrat candidates for Governor hit the airwaves. For some reason buried in the cobwebs of the McCain mind, he felt the need to jump in and attack members of his own party. The ad informs voters that the two democrat candidates have come out in support of Obama. This is certainly nothing earthshaking and good information while in the voting booth.

The political ad also points out the creepy fanatics and America haters with whom Obama associates. It then raises the question of why are the NC democrat candidates in support a presidential candidate with such questionable comrades that clearly hate the country. If we can’t ask that question and expect an answer then we may as well turn out the lights.

McCain is in for a devastating fall if he supports the notion that any criticism of Obama or his despicable associates constitutes “racism.” He has enjoyed the easy road so far, but soon the real race will begin. I wonder how he will respond when the democrats turn their attention in his direction with the purpose of ripping him a new one.

Maybe circumstances will change but for now it’s difficult to find a reason to support McCain. I suppose that sometimes you just have to recognize things for what they are. Sometimes a lemon is just a lemon, and sometimes a politician is just a looney.

  1. Hi LC,

Which begs the question of who gets the Republican nomination if McCain clutches his chest and keels over before the convention?

  2. Hi Grit

That’s the billion dollar question. I’m sure Huckabee and Romney have considered the possibility and could be persuaded with little effort.

Just for spite McCain will probably wait until after he takes office leaving the job to… who’s the top contender on your Antichrist list?

  3. Hi LC,

At the moment I believe the current front runner for the position of Beast is Obama, but I haven’t taken time to total up the scores recently. As to who will be McCain’s VP choice, I’m still betting on Rice. Whoever he picks, it’s going to need at least a bit of color and/or matching chromosomes. Are there any Asian-American female Republicans?

  4. He can’t pick Rice because she is so “connected” to Bush. Romney gives him possible economy plus but then the rapidly bankrupting MA universal healthcare system is his hidden albatross. Huck would allegedly get the Evangelicals but I’m thinking they’re sitting this one out unless Wright keeps flapping his gums.

  5. Hi Grit

The beast is probably someone who you would least expect so… Ron Paul? Sorry just kidding. Rice – she has already declined which I guess means absolutely nothing. However I don’t see it. An Asian-American candidate – Not sure there are any – maybe Michelle Malkin?

    Hi in2thefray

McCain is a mystery so guessing what he will do tough. I’m halfway expecting him to vapor lock after the dems turn their full hit machine in his direction. He’s always been their bud so it will be a new experience. I just hope there is a suitable backup waiting in the wings.
