Obama and the Clueless Generation

with 6 comments

With a gleam in his eye that only a limo-socialist can manage, Barack Hussein Obama continued his Eve of Destruction Tour for the White House. In a Chicago speech, Obama treated his cult to another messiah moment on the evils of climate change and managing car companies.

“They’ve (car makers) done a better job of investment than they have in the past. There’s still more work to do, and the federal government should ‘help’ them do it,” said Obama. This statement comes on the heels of California Socialist-Democrat Maxine Waters threatening to nationalize all of the oil companies.

“These days I don’t drive much,” said Obama. “I bought a hybrid, but we keep it in the garage, mostly.”

I suppose just owning a hybrid gives him some sort of moral superiority and the right to chastise the rest of us. You may wonder with a perfectly good “green car” sitting in the garage, how exactly does he get around?

As I recall, Obama seems to spend most of his time traveling around the country on private planes and around cities in gas-guzzling limousines and SUV’s. Strange that he doesn’t seem worried about the evils of climate change or even the cost per gallon of gas while engaged in his own conveniences.

Obama seems a little hypocritical wouldn’t you say? He demands everyone else pledge their soul to the “green lifestyle” while at the same time he lives like a squirrel intent on not only guarding his own nuts, but taking everyone else’s in the process.

Many people have already figured out that climate change is just a code word for making us feel guilty so it will be easier to fleece us for higher taxes. Sadly, too many don’t see the light thanks to the government run public schools, socialist dominated universities and liberal media organizations who have done the job well. They continue to persuade about a “Utopian Society” that waits only if there is greater government control.

We’ve seen how the media likes to give past generations descriptive titles like, “The Greatest Generation.” If events continue unchanged then this generation will deserve no higher than the “Clueless Generation.” Clueless in the fact that they are so willing to give away hard fought freedoms based on words like, “Hope and Change” with no clue of the real definition.

  1. Hi LC,

Well put! As to Obama, I suspect that, once ensconced in the White House, he will start wearing white robes and carrying a large staff, as he begins his work of magically transforming the United States into a socialist/Muslim/green workers’ paradise. Maybe, trying to look on the bright side of the coming disaster, while he’s at it he can transform tobacco and alcohol into miraculous healthy products, so I don’t have to worry about drinking and smoking while waiting for the country to collapse.

As to Maxine, I’d be interested in knowing how she plans to nationalize multi-national companies? BP, which I suspect she doesn’t realize stands for British Petroleum, should present a special challenge, and the rest, as I understand it, all own significant assets outside of the US which would be snapped up by local Governments in retaliation. This sort of thing, by the way, is why the right to vote was originally a tied to property ownership.

  2. Hi Grit

The Obama, as well as the Democrat solution to every problem is to raise taxes. So before inauguration it might be a good idea to stock up. It will be a good investment because under an Obama presidency I predict alcohol will be one of the most sought after escapes and vacation destinations.

Maxine “Simon Bar Sinister” Waters spends most of her time dreaming of ways to take over the world. With so many henchmen by her side maybe there is some need to fear because Underdog is not here.

  3. Hi LC,

I’m ahead of the curve on the alcohol deprivation prevention plan. I have both the technology and skill to make acceptable beer and wine from local products and, while I don’t have the tools to make a still, I know several people who could do the job. Considering that my maternal Grandfather elevated himself from poverty to upper middle class during Prohibition by producing the proverbial White Lightning, I figure I’ll manage well enough to keep the immediate neighborhood in high spirits during the times of trouble 🙂

  4. Hi Grit

You gotta appreciate a man with a recipe who knows how to use it. I believe that I can safely predict that if the worst comes – you will be one of the most popular people in the county. Now, what’s that address? 🙂

  5. Hi LC,

While we have some experience in putting up large numbers of people, we’re not prepared for the hoards of adoring fans that would surely flock to my door if I revealed my address. If things start looking truly bad, I’ll email it to you 😉

  6. Hi Grit

You are quite right – nobody needs that many friends. I’ll look forward to your email since we are virtually guaranteed miserable times if forced to endure an Obama presidency. 😦
