Liberal Supreme Court Protects Child Rapists
This week the Supreme Court decided the death penalty is too cruel for child rapists. The 5 liberal justices concluded that this would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. Many consider the brutal rape of a child to be cruel and unusual and find it disappointing that liberal sensibilities choose to protect evil over the innocent.
The Supreme Court has struck down a Louisiana law that allows the execution of people convicted of a raping a child.
In a 5-4 vote, the court says the law allowing the death penalty to be imposed in cases of child rape violates the Constitution’s ban on cruel and unusual punishment.
“The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child,” Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in his majority opinion. His four liberal colleagues joined him, while the four more conservative justices dissented.
Liberal judges display a pattern of being more concerned with championing the rights of the criminal over the victim. All too often a predator is allowed to prey on the innocent time and time again. The courts make a mockery of justice while the children and their families must continue with much of their lives destroyed forever. This constant liberal cry of, “it’s for the children” must occasionally be backed up with action and not just feel-good rhetoric.
Maybe in the scheme of things a little vengeance against predators is justice for the victims and society as a whole.
After that Supreme Court verdict I read that the governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal, signed into law that child rapists will be chemcially castrated. Jindal for VP!

Bobby Jindal is proving to be a shining light who displays courage far beyond his peers. He is truly someone to keep an eye on and encourage whenever possible.

Hi LC,
Well … isn’t this good news for muslims? Now they can have their way with their child brides here in our nation. Those five justices are asinine.

One disturbing fact in all of this is how much power and influence these 9 unelected people have assumed.

Very true LC. My husband and I were talking about the recent Heller decision and how 4 people on that court completely disregard the 2nd Amendment. A little disturbing to think we barely have the right to keep and bear arms.

These Judges should be run out of town.
There is nothing as cruel and unusual as raping a child.
Cruel and unusual punishment for a crime like this would be something slow and painful that would take several days I’m sure most would agree a fitting punishment for a crime like this however The Death Penalty, The Bible says to put a mill stone around there neck and toss them into the sea. I like that, something quick and sure like a firing squad, hanging or even the gillateen is not cruel and unusual but a fitting end.
America is going to get what we deserve for letting this stuff go on…
