Stimulus Plan Is Not Working By Design.

with 8 comments

obamawantsallBefore Barack Hussein Obama signed his oppressive stimulus bill into law, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid issued grave warnings and outright threats to Republicans if they presented any opposition to the bill. It didn’t matter that no one had time to read it – just agree and shut-up.

Since that fateful day in February, the unemployment rate has increased and is now hovering just below 10%. I’m guessing this percentage is a bit higher since we know how government loves to tinker with statistics in order to present a more favorable reality.

Speaking of statistics, again we find a little misdirection from the Obamanation where he claims his administration has managed to save about 140 million jobs. This is truly astonishing since the original target figure ranged between three and four million jobs created and saved. I suppose counting the total employed sounds better.

No matter how much hocus pocus Obama tries, the fact remains instead of bulking up the employment figures by putting people to work building roads, bridges or stimulating small businesses – the money magically evaporated into the hands of Obama backers and as a tool to confiscate banks, insurance and car companies.

When asked, VP Biden claimed the Obama administration misread the economy and the affects the stimulus plan would have on the economy. The fact is very little of the stimulus money found avenues where the economy could improve. As I see it, the only thing that increased after price gouging the taxpayers is government power and the unemployment figures.

Don’t you just love a good bait and switch ploy.

Next, the Cap and Trade comes along which touts some nonsense about saving the planet from global warming. Another unread bill forcing the taxpayers to come to the rescue against this hidden and might I add nonexistent menace. Here we see the same game plan of hurry up and wait as the first stimulus bill.

Isn’t is convenient that the right number of Democrats and House Republicans fell in line providing each side cover. Very convenient…

It’s difficult to know if the Cap and Trade Energy Bill will pass in the Senate, but given past experience there is no reason to believe it will not. Then it’s on to the 2nd Stimulus package and Obama Government Health Care Plan and full blown Socialism.

  1. Good post. Anyone convinced that the “stimulus plan” was going to perform as marketed majored in art history in college.

    • Obama is clearly making his intentions known to anyone that will listen. It’s just too many people don’t believe that his smiling face of change is really the mask of an evil manipulator. When a stimulus plan of this size fails you gotta look past the show and ask why?

Obama is purposely tanking the economy so the people will think the Socialist system is the only way to save the US economy. A fatal error and a straight-out lie.

    • Hi slamdunk

Yep, it was smoke and mirrors from the very start. Ya gotta love politicians – love to toss them over the side of a cliff.

  2. Hi LC,

    You said…

I’m guessing this percentage is a bit higher since we know how government loves to tinker with statistics in order to present a more favorable reality.

… and I’m thinking, you’re surprised? Seriously, I’m shocked that such a solid citizen as you would suspect our Government of deceiving we the people, or of sneaking in an unmentioned tax or two. Really! That would mean that the state of things was far too close to the state of things prior to the Revolution to ignore! And that would mean that, if we the people really cared, we would be forced by our convictions to rise up, bearing the arms the Second Amendment guarantees our right to carry, against our Government!

While I have to say that I’m not surprised that it came to this eventually, I would point out that it would have been nice if I had been issued some form of written advanced notice, so I could have paid a bit more attention to doing those 100 crunches I’ve been meaning to work up to, and so I could have diverted a bit more money into my “Guns and Ammunition On Hand For The Possibility Of Revolution Fund!”

On the bright side, I suspect, if we look for it, there’s probably Federal aid in the stimulus package for that.

    • Hi Grit

The only surprise would be if they “didn’t” lie about the percentage numbers.

Don’t know how useful the 100 crunches would be, but I can see how being able to run a reasonable distance without stroking-out and to be able to accurately hit a target would be priceless.

I’m putting in for federal aid on a new crossbow with all the accessories. Since minorities seem to be in this year, and for the foreseeable future, thought I would apply using the name Red Feather.

  3. Hi LC,

I’m thinking that you should go high dollar, and put in for construction of a trebuchet, made from all “green” materials by all “native” workers to commemorate the history of “native Americans” by reconstructing a part of their past. Seriously, what bureaucrat is going to know that the highest level of military development by “native Americans” was the bow and flint tipped arrows? Oh, and if you need a high paid consultant on your Government sponsored project, I’ve watched at least 3 documentaries on the subject so, while I’m probably over qualified by Government standards, I’d like to throw my hat in the ring for that graft, ah, job.

Also, you might want to change your official name to “He Who Wants To Throw Things Far.” Liberals eat that crap up. You might also want to translate that into Spanish and enter a parallell application. Which would be something like: Quien quiere tirar cosas Extremo.

You can also add to your Government application that we can translate any produced documents into a dozen or more languages, so long as Google stays in business.

Oh, and if you go with your original application plan, you’d probably get a better response if you used the name, “Yellow Feather.”

    • Hi Grit

I’m open to the idea of a trebuchet, but you can bet nothing about it will be green, not even the paint. Any native Americans that want to sign on to the project are certainly welcome.

I’m thinking instead of rocks and such for ammunition, I would rather send Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid… etc flying toward my first target. A large rock wall sounds about right. Ok, I’ll paint a target just to make it sporting – it will give me a use for all that extra green paint.

After carrying out my initial volley a major tactical flaw remains. So, as it turns out I will need a consultant to get everything back on track. The amount you require as a salary is not a problem since it will be taken from the obviously over-stocked Michelle Obama servant fund.

  4. Hi LC,

While I’m not really cool with the prospect of being paid from a “servant fund,” for a mere million or so a month I will probably be able to put aside my pride and assist you in building a device to splatter some of our more notorious politicians against a stone wall. On the bright side, I’m thinking that the movie rights to the footage would more than cover my minuscule fee and leave you with a hefty profit, along with the heady sense of a job well done. Oh, and it could be done “green,” just as it was historically. Well, except for cutting down a couple of huge ancient trees. And having a few dozen people living off the local land during the construction process, which modern environmentalists would probably term “raping the land.” Still, it’s a project that I’m already excited about, so drop me a note, and a check, when you’re ready to start.
