Man Defends Against Home Invasion
This week a black youth discovered that the new entitlement mentality drummed into his head from birth carries a higher price than expected.
Fortified with reckless notions mixed with barbaric intent, the youth reached the height of his potential by picking up a gun and breaking into someone else’s home.
His flawed and twisted mindset drove him to steal what he believed an unjust society owed him. The gun proved that he was willing to kill for it. As it turns out, he did get his due – just not what was expected.
We now know that his ill-conceived home invasion plan was doomed from the start. The one thing predators know is their rights, but they foolishly tend to forget other people also have rights. At a home on the 1500 block of Autumn Village Drive, Columbus Ohio, he ran across someone willing to protect and defend his.
One man was home and in his care was a 5-year-old child. The armed intruder entered, but met with more than he bargained. Intent on protecting the child the man leapt into action and repelled the invader by delivering a gunshot wound to the neck. Although wounded, the intruder attempted to flee the home, but collapsed on the porch. He died a short time later.
Reports state that he was an unknown black male in his 20s.
The man who fatally shot the intruder was not a resident of the home; he was staying there with relatives. One must wonder how different this could have turned out had this one variable not been introduced into the situation. As a result, a brave man stood up and swift justice was served.
There were no other injuries from the incident and no charges were filed against the man who shot the intruder.
As programmed by US society you may now wonder the race of the man that defended the home and the 5 yr old child. My answer is – does it matter?
